The EVAP canister purge valve is located under the hood. See pictures 1 and 2. On picture 1, locate letter N (control device). Based on location, I really question if this was hit by a tree limb, but anything is possible.
In addition, check the EVAP canister vent hoses under the vehicle. They are located under the vehicle near the fuel tank. If your vehicle is AWD, it is much more difficult to access, but I can help if you determine that is the problem.
I did the best I could to find pictures of the vent hoses. They are the remaining pictures.
