Where is the engine coolant temperature sensor located?

I have the truck listed above XL Triton 4.6 V8.Radiator fan turns on but not overheating. No check engine light but a wrench indicator shows up after driving for 30/45 minutes.

Ford changed the coolant temperature sensor into an engine temperature sensor which is under the intake manifold of the engine. The intake will need to be removed to change the sensor. Here are the instructions and how to change the sensor out. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
