Can I swap interior and door parts from a Chevrolet GMC Suburban?

It seems the parts are fairly interchangeable. I am especially interested in the interior components such as the front and back seats, door panels, and carpet kits. I am also interested in swapping even some of the engine compartment components such as firewall insulation and plastic components. Has anyone done such a thing?
Thanks

Hi,

In most cases, yes it will work. Just make sure to check mounting locations to confirm they are the same. Additionally, I am assuming the suburban is the same year.

As far as the under-hood components are concerned, do the same thing. Just confirm mounting locations.

Let me know how you make out or if you have questions.

Take care,

Joe

It is the same year, a 2006 gas suburban to a 2006 Sierra 2500. By quick appearance it seems like a good fit, but that was all the opportunity I had, a quick appearance. Thanks for the info on checking the mounting before digging in.

You are very welcome. If you have a chance, let me know how things work out. I'm interested in knowing.

Take care and feel free to come back anytime in the future.
