I have a Ford Focus SE 2.0L Split Port (aka SPI) and the fourth cylinder isn't firing. Can I just remove the spark plug and disable my fuel injector on the fourth cylinder and temporarily drive the vehicle until I get my new engine?

That won't do any good because the computer will screw up completely. See why it's not firing aka low compression etc. If compression is good have a pro diagnose it as it may be a sensor or something similar.
