Security light stays on and I cannot start the car?

Hi,
No, that isn't possible. We need to figure out why it is staying on. Try this and let me know the results.
Turn the key to the run position and allow it to stay on for approximately 10 minutes. The security light should turn off. See if the vehicle starts. If it does, we are going to perform a 30-minute relearn. See attached below.
