I picked up two doors for my truck (listed above k1500) at a junk yard. My truck currently only has power locks and manual windows. Can I put the new doors on and will the power windows work without having to buy anything extra? Also is there a fuse I need to remove/add?

Hello, I'm Danny.

Yes, It's that simple. The wiring harness is already included in the door jam wiring harness. I've attached the power window wiring diagram below. Feel free to ask questions on this site as I'm an expert on 1988-1998 C/K1500's. I've owned many.I know own an 1989 K1500 with only 90,000 original miles. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

So if the wiring is there where would the fuse be located? We do not see one that says power windows on either fuse boxes. Would it already be powered up?

Hello again.

It is not labeled as power window but it shares the same fuse/circuit as cigarette lighter. Weird huh? It's in the ip (instrument panel) fuse block located on the left of left dashboard. Picture below. Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.
