Can I pass the emission test with a ECU from another car?

I was having some electrical problems in the car so I decided to replace the whole wiring so I went to the junk yard and took the wiring harnesses, tcm, and ecu from another 99 Plymouth breeze but after I replaced everything y realized that the other car was a non ABS and mine has ABS, so I am worried about the emission test because there is a different vin number in the ecu and the ABS light is on. The car works fine and no check engine light.

It has to be programmed to your car anyhow as it won't work if it isn't.

Ecm tcm etc modules are vin specific they have to be programmed toyour car. The pro with a scanner may be able to input the abs stuff as well.

I don't think that a programmer can fix the ABS light problem. To fix that I would need to replace the whole wiring again from a car with ABS system.

If ther eis no wiring going to the abs unit then yes you would need that. You can drive the car just the abs won't work brakes still will however.
