can you replace a camshaft in a 2.2l 2000 chevy s10 without pulling engine is so please tell me how?

you have to pull the cylinder head and replace it like that so it mean s draining coolant and bunch of other stuff.

how do you get the oil pump shaft out of the way?

on the right side of block there is an oil pump drive it ihas one bolt that holds it in and it pulls out. you have to remove the cylinder head so you can take all the lifters out. check for lifter bore wear prior to removing lifters. like look to see if they are allin theretight.
