Camshaft position sensor location?

Can’t seem to locate the sensor. Some say it’s on the back of the motor while some say it’s on the front. I looked for diagrams and videos with very little luck

Yep, the crankshaft position sensor is behind the starter motor that is why it is tough to see. Here is an image of the location and a video to yep show you how to replace it.

You will need to do a relearn on the sensor so be ready for that. Please check out the images below.

DOH! sorry, here is the location of the camshaft sensor, it is behind the water pump pulley. What code are you getting?

Also just had the motor replaced less than 100 miles ago. All the accessory parts are from the original motor though

Okay, so with these codes I would try looking at the electrical connector and then replace the sensor, but I can tell you it might be a problem with the camshaft timing or the camshaft actuator oil control valve. Does the engine have the correct amount of engine oil and is the oil pressure okay?
