camshaft position sensor

when it gets hot and turn it off it sometimes wont start until I wait a half hour or so. Think it is the camshaft position sensor but do not know where it is located or how to replace it.

scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge first do not guess as you may replace good parts. see link for fuel and auto parts rent gauge.
