Camshaft is not turning

On my way to work and the temperature jumped up then back down. Checked everything out. On my way home in the afternoon it started to tic and the died and would not start. Long story short, took valve cover off and turned it over and the exhaust side camshaft would not turn. Not normal. True?

Are you sure about the engine? I do not see a 1.6 available for that vehicle here in the US.

The only options I see are the 1ZZ-FE or the 2ZZ-GE. Both are 1.8L engines.
