Replaced crankshaft and a camshaft believe bank 1 it ran after they were replaced now it turns over but will not start and stay running. Does the camshaft have to be positioned at a certain angle to be aligned with crankshaft to time correctly in order to start the vehicle? I need help please.

Hi,

Positioning is achieved by the mounting bolt location. You can't change it.

As far as the camshaft position sensors are concerned, there are a total of four. See pic 1 below. Are you certain the correct one was replaced? If you let me know what the original code you found was, I can confirm sensor location for you.

Also, have any new codes been set?

Let me know.

Joe
