I recently changed the timing belt assembly, then I set the TDC. I did not realize that I moved the cams to another setting. I think I might have set it at the exhaust settings instead of the compression settings. Please help me adjust the cams to its original settings.

Hi Callmerey,

See if the diagram is of any help. There are marks on the cam and crank pulley that should be matched to get the correct timing.

The diagram is perfect and I have done exactly as described, but when I start the car, I get a drop-off rpm when I step on the gas pedal and there is very low acceleration.

Seems like you could have missed out on the timing marks. Recheck the timing mark position. On vehicle it is at times difficult to get the timing correct even though they might seem correct ( you are looking at them from an angle, especially the one at rear).
Get a mirror to check or maybe you can use your phone to take a picture at the marks to verify if they are correct.
Did you check for trouble codes and is the Check Engine Light indicating?
