I have no idea if my 16 plate diesel has a timing belt or chain.
Any advice would be brilliant.
Thanks

Hi Kevin,

The diesel 1.6L (engine code LVL) is a chain driven engine. It appears to be rated for replacement as early as 100,000 miles and shop labor time is around 17 hours. The engine needs to be removed to do it.
