So my truck threw the camshaft sensor code then the crankshaft sensor code went off. So I replaced both and cleared the codes well it still throws the cam sensor code and it started throwing ignition coil codes. So I changed all the spark plugs which needed to be done anyway. All the coils checked out so everything seemed fine and dandy. But the cam sensor went off again and it drives for a while then just shuts off. It starts back up then just shuts off. I’m seriously at a loss. I’ve checked the cam sensor with my dads he has the same truck so we’re able to check that way. But, yes I’m at an end of what to do.

What code does it indicate? Also, there are two cam sensors. Are you certain the correct one was replaced? See pic 1 below. Let me know what code you have so I can confirm a few things.

P 0340, P0344 and I’ll have to check the 3rd when I get home but it basically says some test can’t be completed or something, I read in one of your threads that another guy was having similar issues with the same codes and you mentioned timing?
