Brakes do not have guide pins. The caliper should be held on with two bolts. If the bolts are stuck then I would recommend spraying them liberally with WD40 or PB Blaster and letting them set at least 15 minutes to 1/2 hour. Then if they are still hard coming off, get a length of pipe that your ratchet handle or wrench will fit in to. This will give you leverage and you should be able to break the bolt free.
