Cadillac SRX - STS Door Locks

Cadillac SRX - STS V8 All Wheel Drive Automatic 41750 miles

The drivers door does not catch when closed. The sensor light indicates the Drivers Door is Ajar. Even though the electrical controls will pull done the button, the door will not latch. Is there anything I can do, or do I need to have the lock replaced.

if you havent really slamed it shut try lubercating it with white grease spray, other wise the latch will have to be replaced
