I need detail instructions on how to change the spark plugs on a 2001 Cad STS. Are there spark plug wires or is it another type of connection? I have done this on many engines but not on a Northstar engine

Thanks

2001 would have ignition modules with integrated coils, along with boots that would act as wires. To remove the modules, disconnect electrically, and remove the 8 10mm bolts that hold it to the cam cover. The front one is easy, you may just have to remove the shield, and reposition the upper hose. The rear on the other hand, would require removal of the secondary air injection valve and bracket. It may be to your advantage to remove the front frame bolts to tilt the engine forward.
