1999 Cadillac STS V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic

IS THE CENTER BOLT LEFT HAND OR RIGHT HAND THREADS. I AM REPLACING MY BALANCER AND HAVING A HARD TIME GETTING THE BOLT LOOS.E

The center bolt is normal rh threads. It can be very tight, and needs to be as the clamping force is what drives the oil pump. Loose bolt=low oil pressure. My thought would be a strong 1/2" impact, or locking the flywheel and using hand tools and possibly a torque multiplier.
