1999 Cadillac STS V8 Two Wheel Drive

it overheats and no one knows why

What has been done so far, to not know why? The overheat can be caused by many things. Low coolant level, no cooling fans, stuck closed thermostat, blown head gasket(s), loss of water pump belt, just to name a few.
