1999 Cadillac SRX - STS Stability system

My STS cadillac displays the message, Service Stability System, exactly what does that service entail, and can we determine the problem ourselves if there is one? We can reset the system by restarting the car but eventually the message returns.

push off and warmer on heater controls at same time, write down the codes and let me know
