2005 Cadillac SRX SRX Timing chain

V8's don't typically have timing chain issues. A V6 would be more probable. I doubt you would get any assistance from GM on this. It is out by time and mileage. If it had history of a concern prior to warranty expiration, that would be in your favor. I am not saying not to try for assistance, but when you tell them it has been doing it for a while, you will have to prove it. The slow to engage in reverse is most likely unrelated to the timing chain issues.
