1996 Cadillac SLS keeps stalling while driving

while i am driving the car keeps stalling. it turns right back on but it eventually stalls again. Why?

Possible EGR valve sticking open, or high resistance in the plug wires. Does it still have the original plug wires, does it stall after cruise, coming to stops?
