why when i start my car it runs rough but idles good after i let it run for a momment?

Could either be excess fuel in the intake system due to a leaking fuel pressure regulator, or coolant in the cylinders that accumulates after it cools due to internal leak. Pull the vacuum line to the regulator and check for presence of raw fuel. Monitor it for gradual coolant loss, it doesn't take much to cause a slight misfire, since it don't burn.
