How many miles should you change Trans Fluid?

If this was mine, I would change the filter and the oil in the pan every 30,00 miles.

Not to say I haven't seen some go way beyond. But I also know folks that don't brush their teeth as much as i do either.

Thank you for your response, but my information center is telling me to change Trans Fluid at 20, 000 miles, why would that be??

Makes sense.

30,000 X 4 = 120,000.

Thank you for your response: But this transmission is new with only 20, 000 on it. Total mileage on the 94 caddy is 120,000. Original trans went out at 100,000.
Why would my information center tell me that a Trans fluid change is needed when you stated change should be done at 30,000?

Ok I'm with you. The info center is set on a mileage basis. No one told it that it was changed lol.
Much like a change oil light that lights up at a particluar mileage.
Change it in 10,000 miles.
