1997 Cadillac Seville Wheel Drive Type unknown 100000 miles

Ran out of gas and then put gas but it won't start. Replaced fuel filter and then fuel relay switch but still doesn't work.

Replaced the fuel pump last January.

Check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel pump-could be the pick-up sock in the tank clogged up.

What make you replace the fuel pump relay-No power problem. You should hear the pump come On when you turn key to On for 2 secs-Do you have this?

My brother just replaced it as added insurance because the guy at the parts counter suggested it.

No, we do not hear the pump trying to turn over.....

Do you have a repair manual see below its cheap. Okay you're dealing power problem. Direct power to the pump from the battery-did it come On? if it does trace the wire all the way to the relay-
