1997 Cadillac Seville V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

engine runs great until it gets to operating temp then it powers down and barely runs

Don't have any one word answers or a known cause. It should have a scan tool plugged in and see what changes in the data stream relate to the symptom. Does the check engine light illuminate?
