1996 Cadillac Seville Car shutting off during driving opera

My 1996 cadillac seville will shut off while I'm crusing down the highway. If I'm doing 45+ because the transmission is turning the engine the car will shut off but restart immediately by itself, BUT if driving through neighborhoods and such from 25-40 the engine will die and I must place in netural and restart manually. The car never hesitates to restart, motor does not run rough, my fuel pump is rather noisy, so I'm thinking this is what could be the culprit, but since it restarts with no problem, maybe not? scan for codes, off and warmer on the heater control head, with key in the on position. its probally your cranksensors. replace them both, then a relearn is nessary, go to a dealer to have this done, 25 or 30 bucks
