1990 Cadillac Seville dash lights and high battery volage

1990 Cadillac Seville 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

after driving awhile my info.center says battery voltage high,and my headlights flicker and then dash lights go out ,until the computer resets itself then they come back on. what is that all about?

Have the body computer module tested located behind right side of dash behind glove box-this module controls the alternator field generation it goes thru here efore it gets to the alternator on both grey and red wire at the alternator.
