We just put in a new altanator and new battery but something else is draining the battery. We drove the car throughout the day. Car died after we stopped around 4pm. We drove it about 1-2 hours and everything seemed fine Brand new battery cables and all new hoses too

New battery/alternator and it still doesn't work. Okay connect an ampmeter in series with the positive cable and battery positive post-do you have over 30mili amps if so you have a dierct short to ground somewhere within the electrical system.

If no current draw over the parastic-get the alternator/battery checked out.
