1988 Cadillac Seville goes in reverse but not forward

1988 Cadillac Seville V8 All Wheel Drive Automatic

my car goes in reverse but it won't go forward . how do i fix this is it the transmission?

Hi there,

This is best check by a transmission specialist, as there is the requirement to do a series of test to determine this fault, a general mechanic will not always have the equipment to do this.
