Cadillac SLS, 1996, 140,000 miles, 8 cylinder.

I need to open the hood from the outside and the battery is dead and I can't get into the car to release the hood from the inside. I don't have a door key, just a remote that won't work with a dead battery

the best thing to do is to call the policei n your area and theyll come unlock your door for you, i would not try to open the hood from the outside and end up messing it up.

i suggest you call the police or the car dealership/locksmith and have them open it.
