1997 cadillac northstar 104000 miles hard to start after it does start it is o. k. for the rest of the day

have the fuel system checked ,starting with the fuel pump

MY MONEY IS ON THE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR , TAKE THE ENGINE COVER OFF CYCLE THE ENGINE OFF & ON TO PRESSURIZE THE SYSTEM WAIT A WHILE & CHECKED THE HOSE THAT IS CONECTED TO THE FUEL RAIL , IT WILL PROBABLE HAVE SOME FUEL IN IT .
