1970 / 472 cYlinder 5, 1 PUSH ROD BENT CAR SITIN FOR 2 YEARS REPLACEDD PUSH ROD BENT AGAIN, LIFTER BAD? CAN I RUN ENGINE WITH OUT THAT ONE PUSH ROD TO GET OIL FLOWING TO MAYBE FREE UP LIFTER

The reason your pushrod breaks is because your valve is stuck in the head. The only thing you can try other than pulling the head and fixing it right is to get penetrating oil and put the spray lead into the spring and spray the hell out of it. Let it set for a day or two, the longer the better. Then get a hammer and take the rocker arm out of the way and smack the valve and see if it goes down then comes back up. then you can reinstall a new pushrod and try it again. The more you spray the valve with pentrating oil and let it sit the better off you will be.
