I own a 1990 Cadillac Fleetwood Hearse. I have just put a new battery in it and it seems to be going dead in only a few hours. I have checked the alternator and it's fine. I can't seem to find what is draining the battery. i've been pulling fuses and still can't find the drain. Also the car has 2 batteries. Can anyone tell me what the second battery is being used for.

Hi there,

not sure what the second battery is for, but if it is flat i will discharge the main battery if connected to it, remove the second battery charge the main battery and place an amp meter between the battery Pos terminal & the lead, with key off and doors closed, check currant draw, if over .2 Amps you have a open circuit some where, do this and report your findings.
