1994 Cadillac Fleetwood V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i baught a 1994 fleetwood with no starter, i baught the starter and installed it, but when i turn the car it makes a click sound and all my lights shut off untill i release the ignition as if the battery was low, but i replased the battery and it still does the same thing,iam woundering if i hooked up the starter wrong or if there is some wires maybe burned up that need to be replased,there was only two wires to the starter ,the power ond a small black one are those the only two,sorry if i asked to much but i would gladly appreciate it if u could help me out thanks. victor

should only be those two wires. did you ask why the previous owner had removed the starter? try jumpering the starter with a jumper wire to see if it engages. also make sure your battery cables and terminals are clean & tight.
