hi i have an 1993 cadilllac fleetwood brougham 5.7 liter rwd theres an constant knocking sound not when car is idling or when driven slowly but only when accelerated hard from 5 to 30 mph sound goes away at higher speed resembles loud rattle but heavy

Can it be reproduced when torque braking under similar throttle application. I would suggest possible catalytic converter that has broken apart.
