one injector was changed at 100,000 miles .another at 136,000. my mechanic says others will go out probably in next 20 thousand miles . is he right.

91 was a bad year for injectors, the fuel degraded the coil windings, and the result was shorting of the injectors. There is no standard for predicting when they fail. In hindsight, when you replaced one or the other, you should have had them all done. The money you would have spent on parts, you would have saved in labor.
