1990 Cadillac Fleetwood starting

I washed engine compartment with degreaser and water. What did I short out? The engine cranks over ok but will not start. I tried starting fluid and didn't help. What should I check for first?

If the engine was warm prior to cleaning, check for moisture trapped in the distributor cap.
