I recently had the transmission rebuilt and now have aloud droning noise that only apperas between 60 mph and above. The transmission shifts smoothly but the noise was not there prior to the the transmisson being worked on. Any ideas.

They do anything with the transfer case? If all is full of fluid, and it shifts properly, take it back.Isit like an exhaust type of drone or more like a mechanical whine?

Don't rule out the front differential, common for them to break side bearing adjuster lock tab(LH) offsetting preloads and scoring bearings.
