parking assist chime is going off?

Just bought a used Escalade. The parking assist chime is going off while driving down the road when there is nothing near the car. This happens even when the parking assist is deactivated.

Hello,

It sounds like an issue with the park assist module. That module is located under the front passenger side seat (see diagram below).
Many times moisture will get in that module and cause it to go bad. I have seen soda spilled over in between the center console and seat and getting the module wet, which leads to fault in the module.
