I'm wanting to replace the front pads: the OEM have been squeeking too long.
Do we need ceramic or metallic pads? I've heard good things about the ceramic pads, but are there downsides?

i personally find ceramic to stop better, less dust, but if you dont use them for a long time, say over winter they dont stop properly for me untill i get them running again.

in my shop all i use is ceramic. i dont like brake noises or comebacks.
