2002 Cadillac Escalade lights went out in aircond and heate

i was driving the other day and the lights went out in the dash a/c and heater control unit, the rear unit is fine, can the unit be opened and bulbs be replaced

I don't believe so, I think they are l.e.d's and serviced as a unit. An electrician that knows his way around a circuit board and soldering iron might be an option.

thanks , i guess i might have to buy a new unit, i hate to do that because it works fine other than it not lighting up
