2002 Cadillac Escalade V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

the instrument lights show fine in the daytime but when it gets dark and the lights come on automatically, the instrument lights go off and the lighting adjustment knob dosent work. please help!!!

Looks like it may be a problem with the BCM (Body Control Module) It controls the lighting inside the vehicle. It may need to be plugged into a scanner that is capable of reading the BCM codes to see if it has recorded a failure in thesystem.
