I know I'm an amatuer but I want to save myself from being robbed so I though I would pose a question and see where it leads me.

The car runs smooth but when applying the brakes the steering wheel shakes, actually the whole car shakes, it feels like I want to say the roaters are warped and the pads are not hitting them smooth? I'm no where near expert but it seems like it might be bigger than roaters? Can you give me some suggestions prior to me taking it a garage and getting an outrageous bill?

Thanks!

Warped rotors have been known to cause this, but so too can worn front end parts, must be inspected, especially with 92,000, that's the time when either can be bad.
