1999 Cadillac El Dorado Dual climate control only works on

My mother called me tonight and told me that when she turns on the AC in her '99 Cadillac El Dorado, it is blowing cold AC on the driver side and hot air on the passenger side. She has Dual Climate Control but she said the air on the passenger side is hot no matter what it is set for. Any ideas?
