Electrical problem
1999 Cadillac El Dorado V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

G'morning
Yesterday, the left turn signal started to blink rapidly. The right would not work unless it was held upwards both front and back. The brake lights would not come on. I REPLACED all the bulbs in both tail lights and the two in the front ( orange color ). Once replaced, the Right brake light works, but not the left. The turn signals still blink fast on the left and not at all on the right. The left turn signal front goes fast, and normal in the rear only when held down. The fuses do not appear to be blow - what i could tell ?? No ideas on fuse issues
HELP - lol lol
Thanks
Tony

If you can force normal operation of the signals by increased pressure on the stalk, I would guess that you have a turn signal switch failing. The brake lights also have to go through the switch on this one(except high mount) to provide signalling while the brake is applied. Assuming you don't have any aftermarket stuff tapped in such as trailer wiring.
