1997 Cadillac El Dorado installing master window switch

The driver-side window will sometimes go down but only in the express mode. It does go up. I believe I need a new master switch. If so, how do I install it?

You should be able to pry at the rear end of the plate with a trim tool or straight blade screwdriver and get it to dislodge. Disconnect and flip over, the switch is retained by the plastic on the sides.
