1997 Cadillac El Dorado fuel pump

i would like to know i have a 1997 el dorado cadillac the fuel pump broke and i went ahead and bought one but i want to know how i can take it out and replace it with the new one

It is inside the fuel tank, the tank is easiest lowered with as little fuel(weight) as possible. The exhaust needs to be lowered, exhaust shield removed, lines, fill and vent tubes, and electrical disconnected. Remove the tank straps and lower tank with aid of a jack.
