Is the pull down motor and/or the striker still in the down position? Push the little arm on the latch, and push the paddle down next to the striker. The pull down should run up and down. If the pull down runs up and stops after you release both switches and it still don't latch and pull down, you have a latch problem. If the pull down don't run and is stuck down, you have a pull down issue, more than likely a pull down switch, but would need diagnosed.

The latch needs to be closed for the system to pull down. You can manually close the latch to test the system. I have seen where the latch/motor housing breaks causing the latch to malfunction.

Please let us know what happens and upload pictures or videos of the problem.

Cheers, Ken
